CampaignBase.com Featured at the
Syracuse Technology Roundtable
CampaignBase.com celebrated its first year in business as the featured business at the Syracuse Technology Roundtable November 29th from 5-7pm. A standing room only crowd heard from Travis Glazier, CEO and co-founder of CampaignBase.com, a software startup based in the Tech Garden. After managing the Joanie Mahoney for Mayor Campaign, Glazier co-founded a company that has already developed and delivered political campaign management software as a service to candidates running for the offices of Governor, Congress, and State Senator.
Glazier described how customers used the CampaignBase.com software to recruit and manage volunteers, "micro-target" voters, and to manage other vital information in their election campaigns. He will describe how CampaignBase.com used next-generation technology from Microsoft, including ASP.NET 2.0 and ASP.NET AJAX (formerly codename "Atlas") to develop the company's "Software as a Service" offering. Glazier will also discuss the future of CampaignBase.com and its plans for expanding its service to customers throughout the U.S. and in international markets in the 2007-08 election cycles.
